What's the best way to jailbreak Ipod Touch 3G with 3.1.3 FW?

My crony incidentally updated it when he borrowed my ipod hold as well as now, it’s not jailbroken anymore. Is there a way, as well as what is a most appropriate approach to jailbreak an Ipod hold 3G? Thanks for a help.

You can’t but you can downgrade your iphone/ipod touch to 3.1.2

DOWNGRADING
1. go on http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

2. go on the last select bar, scroll until you find **iPod Touch 3.1.2 firmware, download it and save it in a folder of your choice.

3.You will now need to restore your iPod: shift+click on the iTunes restore button, go select the downloaded firmware and let it restore…

JAILBREAKING
1. google blackra1n, go on the site and download the proper version ( for MAC or PC)

2. run it, click on "make it rain" and let it do his job…

3. Once you get on your iPod touch , go on blackra1n and download Cydia and your done !!

TROUBLESHOOT (pc)
1. If your iPod got on DFU mode ( with the usb to iTunes image), put blackra1n in the hard drive C:/

2. right-click on the blackra1n icon and select "run as administrator" and do the same thing as 2. of JAILBREAKING.

3. If you close your iPod or if there’s no more battery, do the TROUBLESHOOT step again and it should work.
