What happens when you jailbreak your ipod touch?

What only does which do as well as how do we do it? More importantly, will it still be underneath guaranty as well as what not if i do this?
I have the second era as well as we consider I’ve got the reason of a little program which will do it for me though we only wish to have certain we do not screw up this 0 "toy" of mine.

1) Jailbreaking removes code that checks to make sure that the apps you are running have been approved by apple.

2) No, if you Jailbreak, you void your warranty – BUT, you can simple restore and be back in warranty

3) You MUST use http://redsn0w.com or http://quickfreedom.com to jailbreak it. QuickPWN WILL NOT WORK (its only for the 1G)
-I prefer redsn0w because its MUCH easier

4) Despite what you may have read anywhere eles, you CANNOT BRICK A TOUCH while jailbreaking. If the JB goes wrong, you can easily restore and try again.

Find out how much free disk space there is on your Ipod without having to use your computer. Disable Apple’s killswitch so they can’t remove apps they don’t like off your Ipod. Last but not least Hide Icons we all have icons we don’t use and don’t want to look at (Itunes, Stocks, Etc. . .) with Hide Icons you can remove those pesky icons from your springboard.
