ok JailBreaking is when u turn itouch into iphone its not illeagal becuase thousands of people do it and they wouldnt single you out and the only bad thing is sometimes if u do it wrong your itouch will crash or be real slow but i think its kinda of worth it if u have insurance
on it so if your not good on following directions dont do it

well you can install 3rd party apps on the iphone but it voids your warranty
to ironnarrow: it makes it so you can have a bunch of free games

So is it really worth it to jailbreak your iPod anyway? Would it be better to wait until the warranty expires, and then jailbreak it? Or if you jailbroke it, and you are having a problem with it, could you restore it from a backup so you can use the warranty? Is there any way for apple to tell if it has been jailbroke?
