i was only wondering how can we jailbreak an itouch 3rd gen but carrying to undo any of my songs, videos, apps, as well as a alternative things we have upon it. Please do not be as well difficult means this is my initial time jailbreaking. Oh by a approach is this protected as well as will it disaster up my itouch permanently?

If you’re on 4.0, use jailbreakme.com, and it will jailbreak you directly from the Safari browser with no computer. If you’re on 4.0.2, you can’t jailbreak (with a iPod Touch 3G), and you will have to wait for a new jailbreak. If you dislike jailbreaks that require you to restore, then avoid PwnageTool and Sn0wbreeze. Other than those two, no other jailbreak does that unless something goes wrong, so remember to always back up your ipod before attempting to jailbreak.

As for losing apps and music, etc… I cannot remember but you can get it all back.

1. Go on your ipod or iphone and go on its safari, and go to jailbreakeme.com and it will only work if you use the search engine ON your ipod and iphone, because you downloaded directly to it, not your comouter.
2. when done, you have an app called cydia. Taa daa. Its jailbroken.
3. IF you want to get free apps, go to cydia, when done loading and upgrading, go to the "manage" setting, sources, edit, then add, then type in "cydia.hackulo.us" and when its done, go to it by clicking it. install "installous" and it will become an app. go to the app, and download from hosts on websites. Youll figure it out. You have to download it, and then click on the app after its downloaded and click install, or put a setting that it will install and download automatically.
