okay so you have to got to http://www.ziphone.com then you download the app and it jailbreaks ur ipod touch basically you can download ANY app you want i have over 6 pages of apps on my touch and its really cool

the second generation cannot I REPEAT cannot be jailbroken because apple put more hardware not software when something is altered not by them it bricks up.
Jailbreaking is simple. Download winpwn (google) and the 2.2 firmware (google). Then simply plug your ipod in and point winpwn in the direction of the 2.2 firmware. Winpwn will do its magic and when your iPod reboots it will have two new icons. Installer and Cydia. Browse through those to find cool apps like Nintendo emulator and etc.
